HUNTING DONATES $100,000 TO LINDA LORELLE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

HOUSTON – Hunting PLC announced today that it has donated $100,000 to the Houston-based Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund in connection with the international oil service company’s 2008 Hunting Art Prize. The contribution includes a direct donation from Hunting as well as a dollar-for-dollar match of sales generated at the award ceremony by finalists in the 28th annual art competition, which relocated to Houston in 2006 after a quarter century in the United Kingdom. Wendy Wagner’s painting, I Hope I’m Dreaming, won the $50,000 prize this year.

The Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund provides scholarships, support, and ongoing guidance to Houston area high school students in need of financial assistance to fulfill their academic potential in college. “This is a great program with an important mission,” said Dennis Proctor, Chief Executive of Hunting, whose North American headquarters are in Houston. “We’re honored to make a contribution that will have a lasting effect on the lives of the young people who benefit from the scholarship fund.”

About the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund
The mission of the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund is to seek out Houston area high school sophomores and juniors whose potential may be unfulfilled due to circumstances beyond their control, and to provide them with support (mentoring, major scholarships, internships, and jobs) to enable them to access and complete a college education.
