128 ARTISTS MOVE TO FINAL ROUND OF JUDGING IN 2008 HUNTING ART PRIZE

HOUSTON- Hunting PLC will announce today that 128 Texas artists have been selected to move on to the final round of judging in the 2008 Hunting Art Prize. The artists are:

These artists were chosen to move past the first phase of the two-tiered jury process. A second panel of jurors will meet in April to determine the winner of the competition’s $50,000 award. That artist will be announced at a gala on May 3rd. The 2008 competition was open to established, emerging, or amateur Texas-based artists who are at least 18 years old.
