WINNER OF THE 2007 HUNTING ART PRIZE TO BE ANNOUNCED APRIL 28
HOUSTON— Hunting PLC will announce the winner of the 2007 Hunting Art Prize on April 28 during a gala in Houston.
Paintings from the 104 final jury participants will be exhibitied and available for purchase at the event.
The winner will recieve $50,000, which is among the most generous prizes in America.
After a quarter century in the United Kingdom, the competition moved to Houston last year. The 2007 contest was open to any artist 18 years of age or older living in Texas.
At the event, Hunting will also hold an auction benefiting SIRE – a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities through equestrian therapies.
